Daily Inspiration | Lessons from the Tankards
Here is your drop of daily inspiration… The only thing that can stop you, is you!
On Tuesday I had the pleasure of joining the women of the Tankard family to talk about their new season on Bravo’s “Thicker Than Water” for a beautiful brunch at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. The room was full of inspirational women waiting to have a candid conversation over some amazing tea.
The ladies shared about their life lessons, the ups and downs of being on tv and preparing for the next steps in their journey. There were a lot of great inspirational moments throughout the evening that everyone can probably relate to along their personal journey.
Meet the Tankards
No matter if you are single looking for a man, navigating being young and married, starting a ministry, or learning how to walk in your truth there is a Tankard lady that you can relate to. I loved how honest Brooklyn Tankard was about her personal journey and growth, as well as, the inside scoop on what it is like dealing with tuff scenes of honesty and confrontation on the show.
Jewel Tankard aka Mama Jewel gave insight on how she knew Ben Tankard was her husband after attending one of his concerts, and how she is juggling a busy family along with her business ventures.
Here are the inspirational nuggets I took from the Tankard women:
“If you stay consistent to you brand, people will see you as that.” Walk in your truth! @Jeweltankard #ThickerThanWater #bravotv

“Things can be a blessing in disguise because God has a sense of humor.” @Queen_Brooklyn @Bravotv #ThickerThanWater

There is so much more than what meets the eye with these ladies! They are all working on personal ventures, while tackling the ups and downs of family on tv. I had a great time hanging out with the Tankard women, along with a few amazing women in media. Special shot out to Isis from IHearThatGirl.com for inviting me out!
