Here is how you can make an easy and natural sleep tea using romaine lettuce. Lettuce contains the natural compounds Lactucopicrin and lactucin that has been used historically as a sedative, and can serve as a sleep aid.
Lettuce Sleep Tea
Here is how you make an easy and natural sleep tea using romaine lettuce
- 2 cups water
- 4 romaine lettuce hearts
- 1 half lemon or lime
- sweetner of choice
Boil bottoms halves of your romaine lettuce in water for 15 minutes
Strain water into cup
Add lemon/lime and sweetener
