Wineries Near Asheville
During our trip, we decided to explore the wine country surrounding Asheville in nearby cities in Dana, Mill Spring, and Tyron. There is truly something special with the wineries in this area. You will find a lot of wines named after beloved dogs and “ghost houses” throughout the region and on estates that will have a historical hunt for the stories tied to them.
We decided to take a wine tour that included a personal car for our small party, and it made for a great experience! We drove about an hour outside of the city, and experienced some special wines and pairing foods.
There are three wineries that I want to highlight that you should add to your wine visit list if you venture outside of Asheville.
