5 Best Period Products for Endometriosis
Having endometriosis can be a difficult lifestyle to embrace. You may find yourself spending a lot of time trying to stay balanced to remain pain-free. This was a personal struggle for me at the beginning of my journey. I spent a lot of time trying new things and wasting money on things that didn’t work. I hope this list helps speed up your journey to living a pain-free journey with endometriosis. Here are the best period products for endometriosis that I have personally used on my journey:
Best Period Products for Endometriosis: Menstrual Pads and Tampons
When choosing menstrual pads and tampons, it is important to use chemical-free products. Because endometriosis is “like” endometrial tissue, foreign chemicals like plastics can add to your estrogen imbalance. And, this could lead to an endo-flare and/or pain from inflammation.
Here are two menstrual pads and tampons brands that are great for endometriosis:
1.Daye Tampons and Pads – I love these tampons and pads on my health journey for a couple of reasons! Daye’s products are both plastic and chemical free. And, they offer options for bamboo pads. As well as, tampons with CBD to help with pain relief.
2. Honey Pot Menstrual Pads – This brand has been a go-to for years! Besides being chemical-free, I also love how they offer herbal-infused menstrual pads that assist with menstrual pain.
There are so many options now when looking for clean, chemical, and plastic-free tampon and menstrual pad options. Don’t feel like you have to settle with the brands you see in your local store. Do a quick Google search, and you will find even more options to choose from on your health journey.
Best Products for Endometriosis: Supplements and Suppositories
3. Semaine – This is another product I have been using for years with Endometriosis. This supplement has been great when making transitions throughout my journey. It is an herbal supplement to help relieve menstrual pain.
4. Foria Suppository with CBD – Foria has been a great combination for my menstrual pain relief when used with the above-mentioned pads. I use their 800 MG CBD suppository that helps with immediate pain relief when I feel cramps coming.
5. CuraMe – This is a concentrated version of curcumin which is the active ingredient found in turmeric. This has been a great supplement for replacing pain pills with endometriosis on my natural remedies journey.
Like the menstrual hygiene products listed, there are so many options similar to the ones listed above. The key on my personal journey has been finding clean and natural products that can replace the products I was currently using. Once you are able to find the combination that helps relieve your pain when needed, you will be able to think clearly on the bigger steps you want to take without suffering.
I hope this helps you on your journey! If it does, please let me know below.
