Chocolate Easter Egg & Bridal High Tea | The St. Regis

[clickToTweet tweet=”There is nothing high tea & amazing girlfriends can’t cure! #PinkProverb” quote=”There is nothing high tea & amazing girlfriends can’t cure! #PinkProverb”] Happy Easter Verbs! Hope you all are having an amazing Resurrection Sunday with family and friends that will fill your heart with peace and your phones with memories. I got a chance to experience high tea at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington DC for Easter and I just had to share some of the amazing highlights during my time there.

St. Regis Hotel for Easter Brunch

As most of you already know, I got engaged at the top of the year and I am probably one of the most non-traditional brides as they come! It probably has a lot to do with my journey, but everything everyone thought I wanted leading up to the big day was completely opposite of what I wanted. Oh, but when two of my amazing girlfriends invited me for high tea and convo to celebrate my new journey I was game! We went to St. Regis in Washington D.C, and when I tell you it was full of amazing seasonal surprises that made my heart warm… That was an understatement. The aroma of chocolate filled the entry way, and at first sight you would never think it was coming for the Easter Egg in the center of the room because it looked like an amazing centerpiece that matched the decor of the lobby. I mean it was intricate and I couldn’t even think about eating something so beautiful. Of course, when I noticed Chief Thierry, the creator of the master piece, was hanging around the lobby I had to get a picture!

Ohh, and the table hard a spread of chocolate and co co beans.

His work is implacable, and if you happen to be in DC, this egg will be available for viewing up into Mother’s Day weekend.
