Endometriosis Awareness Month Highlights
Endometriosis Awareness Month
March has been such an exciting month for me! I received an amazing opportunity that I can’t wait to tell you more about, celebrated the birth of my new nephew. I had an amazing Easter celebration with family, and got a chance to hear/share about Endometriosis!
There was so much action going on this month, from marches to amazing news, I feel like Endometriosis has started to become a real conversation piece. And I must say it felt good when people around me started asking questions about my chronic pain. Or, saying, “Kyla, I didn’t know about this…I will have to look it up!”– All because the Endo Girls decided to make a little noise about what Endometriosis is and why it is important that everyone is aware.
Chronic Pain Relief.
My favorite part about the month was hearing about my fellow Endo Girl, Whoopi Goldberg doing her part to find relief by launching a line of Medical Marijuana. Listen some might say this is completely unnecessary. But, as I sit here with pre-cramp two weeks before my cycle, there might be a need for change. Knowing the medication my doctor has given me is way too strong my for me to take on a consistent basis — I am open to the idea of any new approaches!

There is all the EFA Medical Conference that will be held on April 17th and 18th. Visit www.EndoFound.org for more information.
An Endo THANK YOU!!
I just want to take this opportunity to say Thank You! To everyone who has supported me this journey. Those who have embraced me on social media and asked me questions. Those wore yellow in support of the cause and laughed/cried with me when I shared my journey. I am in complete awe over the amount of love I have received and I don’t take it for granted.
To my amazing photographer, Jeff Martin, thank you for capturing the essence of my journey.
I am completely filled with joy from you all!
