Creating Your Own Vitamins Schedule
How to Know When to Take My Vitamins
Take the time to learn how each vitamin is helping your body function. You start to pick-up on what your body is lacking and when. And then you will know which vitamin you need to add more of in your diet and when.
For instance, vitamin D is important because it helps your body absorb nutrients. When I start to feel sluggish even after I take my vitamins or eat a healthy meal, I know I need to grab my vitamin D.
When I feel my energy being depleted early in the day, I reach for my B-Complex because I know it contains B-12 which boost our energy. Which also means, I take my B-Complex in the morning and not at night to get the energy I need at the right time.
And when I forget to take my vitamins altogether or after eating really badly (like after the holidays), I reach for Semaine. It is a vitamin made specifically for women with endometriosis by women with endometriosis. It is an all-natural supplement that has truly saved me from a lot of pain.
My experience creating a Vitamin Schedule for Endometriosis
When managing my Endometriosis pain, I took all 14 vitamins daily for 3 months before my cycle and for automatic relief. After finding relief from my pain, I went from taking all of my vitamins weekly for a month, and every day right before my menses started. During stressful times in my life, like the holidays and hectic work months, I go back to taking key vitamins for my journey daily.

Finding Help Along the Way
Consulting with Healthcare Providers
Now that you know what vitamins you need on your journey, let’s talk about the health team you need to keep you balanced. You need a healthcare provider to help you along the journey as your body changes along the way. It is important to find and keep you OBGYN, gynecology specialist, primary care doctor and/or health coach up to date with what you are taking, how much, and how often.
Consulting with healthcare providers is a critical step in managing endometriosis effectively. Healthcare professionals can offer personalized guidance on the best treatment options, including vitamin supplementation and alternative therapies.
Sharing important information about what you are doing holistically with your doctor will help give your doctor the guidance they need with align testing and treatment options specifically for you. It’s important to work closely with a provider who understands endometriosis and can help monitor the condition’s progression, adjust treatments as necessary, and offer support for related health conditions.
You should feel empowered to discuss their symptoms, treatment responses, and any side effects of medications or supplements with their healthcare team. This collaborative approach ensures that management strategies are comprehensive, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of endometriosis.
