What is a Dry Lips a Sign of in Your Health?
Dry lips can be a sign of extreme weather, or simply licking your lips too much. However, if you are experiencing dry lips across season, this might be a sign of something else happening with your body. Dry lips can be a sign of an allergic reaction, vitamin deficiency, too much vitamins, dehydration, medication. And for women, dry lips could be a sign of a yeast infection.
How to Stop Your Lips from Peeling
If you are experiencing chapped lips are are constantly peeling, here are a few things that will help:
- Don’t pick at your lips! Picking your lip will expose a lower layer of skin prematurely. That skin will become dryer faster, and the issue will continue.
- Infuse your lip balm with healing oils. Oils like peppermint will help with the healing process.
