PCOS Awareness | Sharing About Menstrual Disorders
Happy PCOS Awareness Month!!
If you don’t know what exactly what PCOS, let me be the first to tell you. It stands for Polycystic ovary syndrome. This is a hormonal disorder. One of its’ major symptoms being infrequent or prolonged menstrual cycles.
To be honest, I call PCOS the sister disorder of Endometriosis. Historically, women were often been diagnosed with this disorder when they actually had Endometriosis.
I got a chance to talk about the many disorders that effect women. From Endometriosis, Fibroids, Adenomyosis, cyst, and heavy periods they are all disorders that have similar symptoms.
We often think it is just us going through something, but there is power is sharing your story.
