Healing Publicly, Powerfully.
“I created Pink Proverb during a season when everything felt unstable, heavy, and out of my control. Healing doesn’t happen all at once. It happens in the small, consistent choices we make for ourselves each day.”
Kyla Thompson-Canzater is a Stage IV Endometriosis advocate, certified health coach, and the founder of PinkProverb.com — a women’s wellness lifestyle platform rooted in healing, hope, and living your best health-ish life, your way.
It took Kyla over 12 years to discover what was causing her debilitating menstrual pain, and 19 years to find a way to live pain-free — not through conventional medicine alone, but through the powerful combination of herbs, anti-inflammatory nutrition, intentional self-care, and community. That journey became the foundation of everything she shares.
A product of two strong grandmothers — one a seamstress, one a gifted cook — Kyla’s love of food, fashion, DIY, and authentic living flows through every piece of content she creates. She brings a city girl with southern charm energy to wellness: warm, real, and deeply relatable.
Kyla has been featured in Jessica Murnane’s Know Your Endo, the documentary Endo What?, Blood and Guts, and has created content for the Endometriosis Foundation. Pink Proverb was named one of the Health Blogs to Follow in 2021 by BlogHer.
You can find Kyla on local Baltimore news stations — ABC and FOX — sharing healthy recipes, lifestyle hacks, and wellness inspiration. She also regularly appears on YouTube as Healthy Kyla, where she brings her audience along for every step of her healing journey.
“Before working with Kyla, I was having flares that would knock me out for a week. Her protocols gave me a roadmap for the first time — I finally feel like I’m in control of my body again.”
— Sarah P., Pink Proverb Community Member
